Exam Hand Writing

Readers Question: i found this site and it really helps me a lot ,as i am studing in Pakistan doing A level, sir please kindly tell me that if over hand writting is worse and difficult to understand, is examiner will deduct marks or its all about impersion thet he gets.

Unfortunately, examiners are told that they must not deduct marks for bad handwriting. Examiners have to make every effort to read what is written. Even if it is illegible to one examiner – it might be sent to another to try and decipher.

However, I would still recommend writing clearly and legibly. If nothing else it will put the examiner in a good mood. (believe me after marking 1,000 scrips in one month, you appreciate easy to read writing) Maybe subconscioulsy they look more favourably on the script.
