Malaysian Holiday and Interest Rate Cut

I have been on holiday in Malaysia for 2 weeks so have not been posting much. I’m currently in Kuala Lumpar airport, which is a pretty impressive place.
I see the Bank of England have cut interest rates to a record low of 1.5% It will be a difficult year and it will be interesting to see when the economy is able to respond to these fiscal and monetary stimulus.

hello there.

thank you for visiting Malaysia. :)

i am a malaysian citizen & 24 years old, graduated BTEC HND in Business Marketing & i am considering to further my First Degree in Business Economics in UK this coming September (2009). since i am from business background, i’ve touched little bit here & there on economics during my study, but still, i have no guidance at all in economics. i am now writing my personal statement for ucas application, but i am totally lost and did not know where to start, and what should i really tell as i understands nothing about economics. frankly, i know i have so much interests in learning economics.

what is the basic things that i need to know before i study business economics?

Kuala Lumpur airport in short is called KLIA is truly impressive. Glad to hear you like it. Year 2009 is not an easy year for anyone of us, in any country. Hope we will survive the economic storm.

Have a nice day.
