- ‘The middle of nowhere’ It is a way of emphasising the essential nihilistic concept of an object that doesn’t exist (except perhaps in someone’s imagination).There is no need to say the middle of nowhere because nowhere doesn’t exist. So it is just some place that has no meaning. It is a bit like saying where is nowhere? Well nowhere means no fixed point / place, therefore it is illusory and therefore cannot be said to exist in any meaningful sense.
- Answer it with a question. But, where is the circumference of infinity?
- It is a zen koan which forces us to grasp beyond the domain of the mind and enter into a supramental consciousness, therefore, the answer cannot be given in mere words but only experienced as part of the all-negating infinite.
